This hotel was a very nice surprise. Our room was exceptional - a very spacious, luxurious room with four different areas. The entry way to our room as well as the furnishings in the room were beautiful. It was a great place to relax. The view from our windows was magnificent! Our dinner was very delicious and filling. The breakfast was also very good. The hot sand bath - sunamushi sakaba - was a new, great experience for us. The onsen area is very large and clean, a nice place to soak after a long day. If you go, enjoy the bar located by the onsen - it's free to hotel guests and the bartender was very kind.

The room was spacious and clean. The Kaseiki dinner was good enough with the exception of the tempura being overdone. The black sand bath was quite soothing. The lighting made the different buildings very beautiful in the evening. Staff who spoke English were very help those who don't try to evade us and helped the locals first even though we were next in line.

Staff was really nice. Victor at the dining area was extremely helpful and gave us good guide on where we can go around. Another guy at the breakfast area who could speak English also gave us some guidance on where to visit. Sand bath was good and must try. Onsen was huge to cater to the big crowd. Dinner was also delicious.

lovely grounds and had a great fully Japanese spa/ Ibsen feel about it felt like I was where the Japanese go for a spa break on the beach great place for the lava sand bath on-site as is awkward when we went to have anywhere else- worth it for that as all included I think

Graham

The grounds were incredibly beautiful. I felt like I was in Hawaii! (Except it was a bit colder.) The views from our room were amazing. We loved the onsen, especially the large onsen. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice and functional.
